Fishing Nueces Bay
Nueces Bay is located West of Corpus Christi Bay and can produce some nice speckled trout and redfish in this area. There are a variety of fishing spots to fish including reefs, channel drop-offs, oil pipe stands, and shallows for wade fishing.Popular kayak fishing location is the reefs located about midway or center of Nueces Bay. Use Navigation Blvd to Carbon Plant Road. There you will find many locations you can use to launch your kayak depending on your destination.
Shallow water motor craft can access the bay through Rincon canal and drift fish, wade fish or anchor in the channel drop-offs. Nueces Bay depth is about 2 to 3 feet deep. Anglers love this area because of the year round availability of nice catches.
